Pegasus Airlines, a Turkey-based low-cost airline, will begin regular flights between the capitals of Turkey and Georgia. According to the flight application submitted by the airline to the GCAA, flights between Ankara and Tbilisi will be carried out two times a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, from November 2, 2022, through the end of March 2023.

The Georgian Civil Aviation Agency granted the airline the permit to operate in the abovementioned direction on October 19, 2022.

It should be noted that flights between Ankara and Tbilisi were operated by Turkish Airlines in 2019-2020, but have not continued due to the restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
