Scheduled flights between capital cities of Georgia and Latvia will resume on August 5. Technical negotiations have been successfully completed between airBaltic and Georgian Civil Aviation Agency. Primarily, flights will be carried out once a week, while from August 20, flight frequency is planned to increase to two flights per week. Flight schedule will be as follows:
Riga – Tbilisi - until August 20 – every Wednesday (August 5, 12, 19)
Tbilisi – Riga – including August 20 – every Thursday (August 6, 13, 20)
Riga – Tbilisi – from August 20 – twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday
Tbilisi – Riga – from August 20 – twice a week, every Thursday and Monday
Regular flights will be performed on Airbus A220-300 type aircrafts.
Riga is the third international destination the regular flight from which will resume from Tbilisi International Airport. From August 2, Lufthansa is going to resume Munich-Tbilisi-Munich regular flights, while airline Air France will resume Paris-Tbilisi-Paris regular flights from August 8.
