29 Jan.'20 | Statement of the GCAA regarding the temporary suspension of direct air traffic with the People's Republic of China

Within the framework of preventive measures for the possible spread of coronavirus in Georgia, direct air traffic with the People's Republic of China has been temporarily suspended. The suspension of flights will be in place until the end of IATA Winter Season. The CAA of the PRC and the relevant airline have already been notified about the above.

The imposed restrictions have temporary character and might be revised in light of the risks associated with the Epidemic situation.

Under the same preventive measures, all airlines operating in Georgia are instructed to inform relevant agencies about the transit passengers whose primary destination was the People's Republic of China.
